Who I Am
This is the professional website and portfolio (with blog) of Luana Spinetti, freelance professional based in Italy, Lazio, registered VAT (partita IVA) IT14240021007. My website address is: https://luanaspinetti.com.
What Personal Data I Collect and Why I Collect It
I don’t collect any other kind of personal information through this website. I don’t allow comments (all comments posted prior to May 25, 2018, have been permanently deleted from my databases and are not recoverable) and media uploads from users visiting my website. Also, I do not use contact forms: All my email contacts are published in clear text and you can email me anytime.
I record your email address on my computer in my professional address book when you email me to hire me for a freelance project. The email is used only for work purposes.
Your invoicing data is stored in Invoicely so I can safely invoice you: Invoicely supports PayPal and Stripe payments so I never get to know your bank details. Invoicely is GDPR-compliant.
This website uses sets no cookies for the visitor but the technical WP Test Cookie (wordpress_test_cookie) that merely checks if cookies are enabled in your browser and it expires when you close the page. You can read more about this cookie at Cookiepedia.
Embedded and Linked Content from Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
I’m not responsible for any data misuse from the linked websites.
This website no longer makes use of Google Analytics as of May 27, 2018. I deleted my account prior to May 25, albeit it was already anonymized and I have never profiled my visitors, relying on aggregate data only. I decided to implement Matomo with full anonymization as of September 17, 2018.
Since June 19, 2018, I’m using Google Search Console to monitor the health of my website in Google search index. This tool collects data from my website and search engines, not from you, so none of your data will leak into the tool.
The server logs on my hosting account record full IP addresses and (browser) user agents, as well as geolocation and statistics on pageviews. The IP information is used to combat hacking attempts and only for security reasons. Pageviews are used to improve the website and understand which areas are more interesting to my visitors.
The logs are currently deleted manually every 90 days.
Who I Share Your Data With
How Long I Retain Client Data
If you send me a business email (freelance projects, collaborations, etc.), your contact information (the email address and any information you provide in our exchanges) is retained for as long as necessary following the closure of our contract. This is so I can provide support (if contracted) or deal with the Italian/EU civil and penal laws.
I don’t collect visitors’ personal information through this website, so there’s no data to view, share or handle under the GDPR law.
Where I Send Your Data
Your emails are temporarily stored on my webmail under my domain at InMotionHosting.com, until I download all emails to the email client on my computer through POP3 protocol.
This website has HTTPS/SSL (encryption) enabled to protect client-server communications. This ensures that any kind of data I enter into my website (using WordPress or other software) will be encrypted so it doesn’t appear in clear text to anyone trying to “sniff” my data.
